Lucky for me I have a wife who likes to ice fish as much as I do. Last year she pulled our tent off the ice a couple times and told me we need to get a 4 wheeler after seeing how nice they worked. So Monday I saw an ad on Craigs list, just down the road from where I was working. I went on Tues. and checked it out and ended up buying it!! :woo_hoo: arty: Now I need to turn our old pop-up camper into a 4 wheeler trailer. It’s a 1999 Yamaha Kodiak 400.

Sweet ride that will make more time for fishing. And if you wish you were somewhere else on the ice it makes it a lot easier to move.

    I like it Ed.

    Congrats Ed.

A little tip on turning the camper into a trailer. An old buddy and I did this once and when we got the camper completely stripped we decided to flip the axle so the floor would be flat all the way around. It ended up being a REALLY nice trailer with a fresh coat of spray paint and new green treat all the way around. We even welded on some brackets the size of 2X4’s and had some nice sides that would be removable. Good Luck Ed should be a fun little project for you.

Make sure you don’t pull a ecnook and get it registered. I still can’t believe we didn’t get a picture of him being hauled away in cuffs

I found out the hard way the $40 fine + $60ish court recording fees will make you wish you didn’t forget to keep them current.Even fresh $10 crappies did not taste good that night.
