I am wondering if anyone has ever fished Poskin Lake in Barron COunty, WI. I have been eyeing this lake up the whole season and am wondering if anyone can give me any info. I will be looking for panfish mainly but also lookin for walleyes as well. This lake is 30 feet deep at the deepest, has sharp dropoffs all around the lake, and has two underwater points, one of which looks good for walleye …. Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!!

I used to live very close by this lake.Back then,it had good numbers of panfish, but size could be challenging.I did not focus on the walleyes in that water.
    Good luck & report back!

Hi; I live in Barron and ice fish at least 3-4 days a week. This is not a lake to really bother with for eyes. As state before it is challenging and lots of sorting for keepers panfish. That is not to say there aren’t any there either. My suggestion if your looking for eyes is go a little farther north and hit Bear lake on the Barron/Washburn county line.I think you’ll be happy with what you get there.
