I got a buddy here who is contemplating taking a winter trip to MN, I believe he said. He’s wanting some ideas on where to fish, who’s got some shacks for rent, where to stay, stuff like that. Just wondering if you guys could come up with anything for ideas. Thanks!

If I had to pick one place, I’d go lake of the woods. 
This ice season for my Milles Lacs trips, I have a cabin available just North of Lake Mille lacs. This cabin will be an option for clients. It has all the comforts of home. And plenty of room. And plenty of lakes including the Big Pond. Its an excellent set up. Shoot me a PM if its of interest.
I’m sure there are plenty of places to go and these guys can help you. If I were making one trip to MN to ice fish, I would go to LOW and rent a guide for at least one day to show you the ropes and go from there. Red Lake is good too. Mille Lacs seems hit-and-miss, but can also be outstanding at times. Good luck.
