Green Lake Last evening

After the weather settled down yesterday I headed to the river to look around. Plows were out and around and I could get anywhere I wanted to. Ended up at Green Lake from 2:30 to sundown. Largest Crappie 10 1/2, Largest gill 8, only one spot out of all I tried had a bite. All seven keepers in about an hour. The fish would not let me hold the pole… I sat it down until they had grabbed and held on, and picked it up and set the hook. Might have just been me , but they seemed to get off every time I held it in my hand and tried to set the hook. Happy Hook-ups Lawrence
