Saturday except for just before dark, and Sunday all day were awful for decent size gills at goose island. I have never seen so many fisher man come and go after staying only an hour. We had good action on the tip -ups for Northern and big bass but we still usually get some nice bluegills. I think our biggest was about 5 inches.
When I stopped Saturday evening at Captain Hooks Bait in Genoa to grab more shiners I got to see a real nice pail of slabs from Green Lake, but the fisherman said he got them all in and hour and a half in the middle of the day and his two friends got nothing, any reports on a good bite anywhere???
