Ice fishing in LAX this week, anyone?

    I see the Black River as well as Lake Onalaska has a very nice layer of ice on it as of this morning at 6:30. I imagine some of the areas are walkable by now.

    I would really like to get out sometime between this afternoon and Sunday morning, but don’t want to venture on first ice alone if I can help it. So is anybody going to be out and about? If so, let me know

    Let’s see if we can get Bret to go. We can let him go first (and this is from advice from his Dad ) to see if the ice is safe.

    I ahve personally confirmed there are people on the ice as of 3 this afternoon. I WILL be on the ice soo, very soon
