Well, it is that time of year, ice is in the air- The puddles and small ponds were frozen over this morning with skim ice- Last night, I sat out all my rods, and re-spooled them with new vanish or p-line. Re-organized all of my tackle bags, and boxes, and put a good selection in my revolution bag. I oiled up and cleaned all the reels, charged the lx-5’s and the camera one last time- Took my strike light out of the box, filled up with oil, and gas and checked the blades, and she started right up-

What else am I forgetting? The shack and snowmobile are ready to go as soon as the ice depth permits… I suppose I could order more jigs from CJS you can never have enough of those…

What final preparations are all you other ice heads making? Waiting for ice is like waiting for Christmas when I was a kid- I simply can’t wait…
