I came across the idea of using christmas lite storage bins to hold all my reel weeds. The bins come with the pieces that are intended to to wrap your lights around. The line and weeds wrap around great and store nicely. They work great and best of all…. cheap! I think Sears might still have a few on clearance.
I put mine in a small tote that slides under the bench in my Eskimo, cut a piece of cardboard to cover the weeds and use the extra space for small loose items like rod holers, ceiling fan, radio ect.

Not to hijack the thread but I met a guy up at Brushy Creek a couple weeks back that had a ceiling fan in his sled that he made out of a computer fan. Sounded pretty cool. He said it would run forever on a vex battery.
