Well guys after last weekend of dragging out the FT Guide loaded down in 5 inches of snow, I’m ready to either make this thing lighter or get a 1 man sled. 90% of the time I am the only one fishing out of my shack.
Option 1a: take one of the bolted down seats out of my FT Guide and leave the other one where it’s at.
Option 1b: take out the one seat and drill 4 new holes and place the remaining seat in the middle for ultimate comfort.
Option 2: look for a used fish trap scout or pro
Just curious how much weight loss is expected by taking one of those perm seats out? Has anyone done this?
Don’t really want to have another shack to store or spend the money unless I can get a good deal. I picked up an older scout for my Dad last year for $40. If I can find another one that would be the way to go for sure.
What do you all think?
Thanks,
Dave
