Fishing upper harbor of Bay Point Park

    I went out this morning on the upper harbor of Bay Point Park in Red Wing. I sat there for 3 hours and didn’t get as much as a nibble.

    My vex showed there were fish but I couldn’t entice them to bite. I tried a Swedish Pimple with a minnow head, a Swedish Pimple with waxies, glow jigs with a minnow head, and so on, and so on. Nothing worked.

    I know anglers like to keep their techniques a secret but any advice would be appreciated.
