I headed out to a community hole yesterday afternoon. Approaching the area I counted 7 portables. A few of them where really close, but i figured that they might be fishing together as they were all one man flip overs. Being new to hard water fishing this year I didn’t know how close I could go to the other shacks, so I decided to start drilling holes and after finding something interesting I ended up being about 5 car lengths from the nearest shack. Within the first hour 3 new shacks filled in the space between me and the closest shack. Do you guys think this is too close? I was not mad about it, I am just trying figure out the ropes still.

Oh, I did end up catching 5 short Sauger. They where the first ones that I had every caught through the ice and have to say that it was fun on an UL.
