Zoomer inspired me to post up this tip I just came upon last night. I was just blown away by this and couldn’t figure how I had not thought of it sooner.
I was looking for some type of cover for my hand auger due to the auger itself(not the blades) slicing my tent a couple weeks back. I was in the garage and looking for a towel or a blanket to wrap around my 6″ Mora when I saw it! The answer to my dilemma. There they lay on the shelf, 3 bag chairs in their bags!
I quickly ripped the cover off of one of the chairs and slid it over the auger for a fitting. PERFECT. The 6″ Auger with cover fit in the bag perfectly. So now not only do I have a nice cover for my auger but it has a strap on it as well to carry it on my shoulder.
I would guess you could probably get a 7 inch auger in the bags but I didn’t have one to test.
Anyway, that was my find for the night. I was pretty excited for such a small thing, but hey, it’s the little things in life.
