I was recently fishing on spider lake in chisago mn. We drilled some holes and started fishing. Next thing i know- in two different holes 20′ apart- these freakish “beetles” swam up in the hole. They were about 2.5″ long and 1″ wide w/ huge “arms” or “grabbers” or whatever. Any ideas what these could of been-or has anybody seen them before? My bro took pixs but i dont have them. Do you think fish would eat them if we put ’em on a hook?BTW-i dont wanna touch ’em
