In the market for my first flasher. The consesus I have found is that Marcum will be a better purchase than Vex. The question I have is, is it worth the extra money for an LX-5? I understand this is an opinion, but just wanted some input. I do not get on the ice nearly as much as I would like so keep in mind I am not going to be using it daily. How are either for ease of use, clarity, separation, battery time, etc. I can read the manufacturer’s specs all day long but I was hoping for some first hand input! I don’t foresee fishing in any water deeper than 30-40 feet. As a side note I will be purchasing from jollyann so I think I have that covered already!! Thanks
