pool 10 report

went up to the prairie area today with help from a few members. TJ91, jonssidekick, bucketmouth1 and i hit her hard. the fishing to say was slow at best. we caught a keeper here and there all day. sorry guys but the best bite occured after you left. at 3:00 they turned on big time. ended up with 8 perch, 5 crappies and the rest gills. couldnt get the line in the hole fast enough. i didnt get a keeper every time but a fish to say the least. after the long day of hole hopping and sporatic action it was nice. no particular bait seemed to be the hot ticket but something with orange or pink worked. it never felt like 40 degrees out there, more like a wet 25. i heard various reports walking off the ice from good to not so good. the fish are there it was just hard to get them to commit. my face is feeling pretty raw after all that wind today so i better have some beers to numb it up, have a good one, dan sorry guys no pics.
