Here’s a big ole toast toast to our Forefathers and the early citizens to lay the foundation for this beautiful country!!

Watched the fireworks with some friends over Northside from the Twins, and heading out with family to the Croix shortly. The flag will be flying!

    Cheers!!

Thank you! They aren’t technically related but they sure do look alike, don’t they? Fritz is 4 and Remi will be 3 next month.

Happy 4th all. I tubed the Apple river with my wife & kids today — something I’ve been doing for almost 30 years. It’s definitely a party and not the most kid-friendly environment but we had a blast and all of the revelers were kind and happy. The drunkards on the bus back to the launch asked my wife what our last name was and the whole bus full of idiots started chanting our name. All in good fun — and a good opportunity to tell the kids why they’ll want to be careful with their alcohol intake when the age comes.

Some lucky campers were landing some nice eyes from their site, too.

Fireworks tonight, along with soothing the anxious dogs.
