An early season Lake Superior Brown Trout trip from a couple years back ranks as one of my personal favorite ice fishing experiences to date.

One of the the few benefits of the 2013-14 winter of the polar vortex were the increased opportunities to chase monster Lakers up on Lake Superior.

Hook into a few of these bad boys and you’ll completely forgive mother nature for all the below zero days that allowed access to areas that only freeze up once or twice a decade.
