Up at the NW Angle we had another fun filled week. We had Dave Koonce, Joel Nelson and James Holst from In-Depth Outdoors staying with us as well as their families. A great time was had by all!
We had another bug hatch which slowed fishing down a little bit and a couple days of bad weather. But, fish were still caught! Spinners seemed to work the best – trolling around the edge of the reefs in the mud at about 28-32 feet. James Holst had good luck down rigging at about 32 feet between the reefs using plugs.
On the Ontario side, Bishop Bay and Skeet Island are still producing.
On the Minnesota side, the launches were around Four Blocks, pulling spinners with crawlers.
Until next week, good fishing!
