Big Green Bay Walleye’s

Made it home from my first week up in the bay and the fishing was fantastic. We boated some serious hogs this week, with fish as big as 32+ inches and over 13+ lbs.

This is a fantastic fishery for giant fish, many area’s I have been fishing I never see another fisherman. Some days the numbers of fish can be down but our best day this week was 4 fish over 30 inches with 2 over 12 lbs.

Best bait for me bombers and reef runners trolling in 12-20 feet of water or casting with plastics has also been a blast on a few night when it’s not too choppy. Best bait was the white or smelt gulp on 3/8 ounce darter head jigs.

I’m heading back up for another week in the AM and I’ll report next week.
