After being away from fishing for sometime it sure was nice to get back into the swing of things with a trip to an area reservoir with my bro & son-inlaw. Armed with all the gear, off we went in search of some gills & crappies. The Strikemaster started right up & was in for a test as we punched holes looking for some fish with the flasher in some deep timber. Not finding what I was looking for, off we went to the next spot & did it all over again. We were finding fish but they were not wanting anything to do with our offerings.
In the third spot we finally had some takers & it felt good to ice a big gill again!!
This gill & crappie fell to a glow Ratfinkee over 26fow (I like the glow/pink) but don’t tell BK he’ll buy them all up.
Ben got into the action with this crappie & a few others not far from where I was set up. (I think he was using a ratfinkee also) I didn’t get any pics of my bro’s fish but he got a few nice fish as well!
Can’t wait to get back out on the ice & explore some new spots, somewhere, someplace, sometime SOON!
Good Fishin
