This probably will sound like the same old story but the fishing remains the same, slow but steady. Travis Renville and his brother were the winners of the benefit auction and I think it was money well spent. Pictured is Travis’s brother with a 29 + dandy.
Travis got in the action also with 25 incher taken on a tip-up. The bite was not fast but fast enough to keep a guide busy running. I want to thank Travis for being the high bidder on the benefit auction.
I also got in the action, as I took my family pike fishing over Christmas. We ended up with 7 pike on the afternoon, but had a little trouble working our new camera. This is a 33 incher caught by my son Cole on a rattle reel in the sleeper house. We taped the entire bite & fight from the underwater camera and the footage is unbelievable.
The bite has been fairly consistant. The sleeper house this weekend put out a 28 1/2 inch fish as well as numerous large pike. We continue to move to keep after the big fish. With this cold weather we plan to move farther out onto the lake in the next week. We will keep you posted here on In-depthangling.
Does Brad have a horseshoe up his rear? He seems to end up with the biggest pig on each outing……What happened Travis?
hehe…. I thinks he’s just paying me back for the clinic I put on him this fall up there. Like I told Scott… X-Mas is over… no more “gifts” from Santa Trav.
