Pool 10 Pitching Plastics

I have been going out after work hoping to get on a few bigger fish and they just have not come to my boat. I have been pitching 3/16 and 1/4oz precision jigs hooked up with the 4″ BFT Ringworm…Sand flats and current breaks have been my spots of choice…

Joining me on Wednesday after work was Scott Mickelson. He is a good river fisherman and i knew that i would increase my odds of landing a good walleye with him in the boat. Scott likes the brighter colors this time of year and his chartreuse orange core RW landing him this nice 22.5″ eye

Thursday after work i had Scott Shedivy join me to help me seek out a big female. We worked over this flat and also worked the false lock and could not come up with a big girl..We worked hard throwing several colors at them..Scott came up with a real nice 20 incher and that was the biggest fish for the day/evening.

You just never know when your next cast will be a trophy !!!

  1. Keep up the good work up there Dave. I would kill for a fishery like you have down the street. I would be out there every day after work.
