Well this past week was by far the best week I’ve had fishing for browns and steelhead we had some absolute tanks and really good numbers of fish!
The same program with some exceptions, the water is dirtying up in some area’s which can lead to poor fishing. Besides that gulp has been awesome, I can not tell you how the 4-5 inch gulp minnows with Gamakatsu 26 darter head jigs are fish catching baits above and beyond anything I’ve had to use and is the most consistent bait for me!
The ice bite has also been awesome this past week although we are loosing ice fast! But I had my 2 best days of the season this past week were 2 clients landed 25 fish one trip and 23 fish another trip along with missing countless others.

Nice fish Eric!!! I wanted to get out there one more time on the ice but I am not sure that the area I want to fish is safe anymore, so I am getting the boat ready for next week. Can’t decide on walleyes or browns, maybe I will see ya out there.
Trout or walleye’s!!!! ??? I can not wait for 2 more weeks than i get to chase some big walleye’s for a long time up in the bay! I’ve had my share of trout and my wife is sick of the smell of spawn sacs!
