Well if any of you were brave enough to venture out this weekend it was Brisk..
We had some great fishing though..
The dam area was protected from the sharp wind..and the fish were accomodating the numbers are really banging the ole plastics…If you have never done the DOO you just don’t know what you are missing…
It was another SUPER DOO weekend…
I don’t sell them and do not have stock in the company.
But these things flat out catch fish….
Here is a photo from the dam area yesterday Morn.
This next picture is of my Nephew and fishing partner Mike Anderson.
He braved the cold with me two days in a row..
This shot he thinks he can run two rods….truth be known he can..
We were finding our fish vertical with plastics in 20 feet and deeper..alot of fish on deep edges.
When the wind blew you had to pull down the creek.
The vertical plastic bite has been very good for me this past week.
Here is Mike with a real big smile.
We caught some fish down river Friday..but nothing huge.
All of are fish came to the boat on plastics the last three days…Super Doos, Ringworms, Assassin’s….
OK i won’t mention that again.
Had a great time on the water yesterday with a couple of southerners..Paul & Sue Read, from Putnam Ill.
Sue didn’t want to get in my boat because I didn’t have any live bait, and I made her leave the nitecrawlers at home.
We caught about 30 fish. Got some eaters for them. Our biggest fish of the day was about 19 inches..most fish we kept were 14 to 17 inches..tried to keep all males. How ever upon cleaning I did have 4 females…I’ll try harder next time.
All in all it was a fantastic weekend. Looks like Sunday is the day to be out fishing..
I’m cleaning the boat and going to watch the game and send all my guests Home..
Good luck..
Here is Paul and Sue Read with the days catch?
I almost forgot..
Mike and I fished down river Friday we fished early..
it was very cold…
So Saturday I fished bankers hours.
We were on the water around 9:00 off the water at 4:00…
Had tons of smiles and laughs in between..
It was good to see everyone…and to be seen…
I’ll leave the early morning fishing to those young guys whom like to show off their cold body parts….
later
keep it up and down….
Hey Bud, I see theres one still swimming which means you must of missed one! Thanks, Bill
Good to see you out there friday, Greg. I wait until Jarrad posts his report before I post my pics. We got some really nice Piggies before daylight broke!
Ran into Nate out there Bill, HE said you were working hard!
good report, looks like a numbers game, hopefully a few bigger fish were biting. know the wind would have been tough to fish in today. going on monday, and know the wind will be lighter, hope the fish keep up the bite. Jack.
Nice report Greg, keep them coming.
Yea Tom…

Hey Tom, Good to see you got out there on pool 4. Yeh, some of us have to work fore for a living and can’t fish 3 days in a row like Nate can. Had my oldest grandaughter for the weekend. Thanks, Bill
Hey Bill, I’m definitely planning to spend a few days at Evert’s in early April. As “senior” members of this wonderful bunch of Piscators , we should get out there together and drop a jig or two
What do ya say Billy?
Sounds good to me Bud. Jig-eyes it is. Thanks, Bill
Great report Greg.
