ICE FISHING
Enjoy the ice fishing pictures from this winter. We have had blizzards, we have had snow, but now it is starting to look really nice for at least the next week. But Ice Fishermen don’t care how bad the weather is.
Ask In Fisherman’s Chip Leer. They wanted to stay out on the ice longer, but with the blizzard going on all day, Gary had to call it quits because we didn’t know how much drifting we would be going thru.
We’ve have been very fortunate to have a number of T.V. shows filmed here at Roy Lake Resort. I hope you’ll be able to catch them on Fox Sports North, Sunday mornings!
Check out In-Depth Outdoors pictures also. Pretty awesome fish. But the truth is we have had our share of weather systems going thru. But we always managed to find a bite with the crappie bite being the most consistent.
We have great ice, and a lot of areas, you should have a snowmobile to get thru some of the drifts. As the weather settles down, the snow should start settling down too.
There is a good fishing bite, but if you haven’t ice fished up here I would really suggest using Gary. It really shortens the learning curve.
