Well it took a little while but once I found the big schools of bait the ski’s were right behind them! We fished hard up shallow to no avail so we hit the deeper water in 17-25 feet of water and BINGO! Shortly after finding some massive schools of baitfish out deeper it was pretty obvious by the marks on my Lowrance that ski’s were very close by! The best baits for fishing the deeper water are big Zips, Fuzzy does it’s, white bulldags or cisco pattern, and Twin Finns for us, along with dragging some meat. Find the bait and the fish were there chowing!
I’m sure there’s still fish up shallow we just did not get a single fish to go up shallow so I moved out deep and got into the fish there.

I used to fish Pewaukee Lake years ago while I was doing business in Milw. I actually rented a house on Pennisula Dr. right on the lake. Keep up the good reports!
