The bite was solid again with my clients landing both big fish and good numbers of fish today. To my surprise I saw a ridiculas amount of browns that had moved up in shallow and when I say ridiculas I mean like hundreds of fish from 3-12 lbers everywhere. I fished for them for a short bit and caught this one and missed a few others.
Same deal for the kings cranks and floats with eggs.
Good to see the browns are showing up.
Good fishing!

Hey Eric,
That is one beautiful Brown in you pics!!! WOW!!! Great JOB!! And Awesome Fish!!
Geez, Eric and Rainy I’m not sure how the h*ll I’m going to come up with the guide money but you two are on fire. Eric between the big water reports and the flathead reports and Rainy eye reports that are making me cry (at work in the office) wishing. Way to go guys!! Keep the reports coming.
Thanks for the postive words.
Same deal different day, lots of kings and a few steelies today skein and cranks did the damage.
Eric
Another great Report Eric
Today was fantastic with my clients landing over 20 kings in a short while in Mckinnely Marina. There are lots of browns kings and coho’s right by the launch now, and there’s also a really good bite from shore going on over by the sailing center, if the gate is open that’s a great place to fish from shore.
I cure the eggs by putting 80 percent fire cure natrual or fire cure borax with the Krill additive, and 10-20 percent of the colored cure pink, red or orange.
I bring a variety with me some days they can be very picky other days it does not matter they hit anything. I’ve learned that there are days if you have the right eggs and right cured eggs, it makes all the difference in the world!
Good Luck
In the second pic, is the eye deformed or just how the pic turned out??
Thanks for sharing and continuing to fuel the fire to come fish with you next fall.
