Today was a Special day on the hard water for me, as I got to spend the afternoon on a sm area reservoir with both my daughters. Nothing better!! As you can see by the smiles we had a GREAT day!!
Jen got the first fish of the day & it didn’t take long before we all got a few bites. We set up on a weed edge next to a steep drop & the gills were there. All were caught on ice jigs tipped with waxies over 20 fow.
The added bonus to our great day for me was catching my biggest gill of the year 10 3/4 in. The only thing better would’ve been if one of the girls would’ve hooked it. Nothing better than fishin with family & friends anytime, anywhere!
I hope you all understand that this isn’t about where we were fishin, but who I was fishin with. This was a sm reservoir in the roch area which can’t with stand alot of fishin pressure. Hope you all understand why I didn’t name it. Good fishin Doug
