I had the privilege of fishing with Melissa Hetrick today.
We went to the North end of Pool 4 for some walleye action.
Melissa is a very good jig fisherwoman.
We managed a nice limit of eaters.
The biggest of the day for us was 19 1/2 inches.
The best presentation was jigging with a crawler on clam beds.
The best depths were 8 to 13 feet. However we did get a couple of fish shallow.
I can’t seem to get my pictures to down load but I will work on that.
The bite in lower Pool 4 has a slow walleye bite but starting to pick up.
However the Sunfish and Crappies are on fire and some of the slaps are running over 12 inches..very nice fish.
Best presentation for me has been vertical with hair jigs.
Most riprapped areas are holding fish…
It and invasion of crappies down here..
