Heading out on Lake Michigan for those big king salmon is always a good time, but make sure your arm is ready, its quite the workout. I headed out of Two Rivers, WI with Keith Heberlein with WillieBee Charters and he defiantly put us on fish. Keith is very knowledgeable on figuring out fish movements and what areas to target.
We used a combination of baits Spoons, white dodgers and J-Plugs with a total of 15 fishing rods out. We had many big fish come to the boat along with 5 fish on at one time. That was quite the experience with all those fish on at one time. We concentrated depths from 80ft to 110ft, but now with this colder weather it will start pushing fish towards the piers were fish can be caught in the 20ft – 40ft.
