My boat is still in the shop so I hitched a ride with friend and PWT Pro Todd Robinson. We decided to fish the area N/NE of Ashtabula Ohio. We met up in the morning and launched his Yamaha powered Lund Pro-V out of Lakeview Park.
The lake had a nice 1-2′ chop and sky was overcast, perfect day for walleye fishing.
Location
We ran 12 Miles N/NE to 74′ of water and setup.
Basic Program
We were running old and new style thundersticks on 12# single strand wireline behind offshore inline boards.
Left side of boat
black/silver Thunderstick Jr (new style) 200′ behind the board
162 Thunderstick Jr (old style) 200′, then 1 1/2 oz snap weight, then 25′, then the board
Right side of boat

We had a great day on the lake, we ended up with 11 eyes, 6 or 7 big perch (10-13"), and about 30 farm animals (sheephead).
The picture is one of the eyes that we caught, it came up from the deep water so fast that his air bladder came out of his mouth… It almost looks like he is sticking his tongue out at us!
