Finally,fish on!The bite is VERY good and a few nice eyes are making there presence known.The pitching bite as shown here is starting to heat-up.Chart-pepper ringworm with 3/16 h2o jig put this fish in the boat for me at sunset.A very healthy fish with some shoulders as it fought a tough battle.I cant tell you how much fun it is to watch those fish smack a ringworm that hard.
Mike & Bruce here had a nice limit of eyes and saugers vertical jigging dark hair and minnows in approx 14 feet of water this week,just the right size for the pan.Good job fellas!
Wayne shown here with one of a limit of saugers and eyes that were caught on b-fish paddletails….orange-chart tail.I think Wayne is a believer in paddletails now!!!
Quality fish like these this week have been caught with hair,blades,plastics,and 3 ways.Low fishing pressure ,beautiful fall weather,fish to the boat,does it get any better?Good fishing to ya… hope to see ya soon!

These fish came from Redwing to the dam,The better fish seem to be coming down stream as of now,you dont have to fish the dam to catch fish,but they are there in good numbers.I have recieved some reports of catchs at the head of the lake as well,pulling cranks and pitching hardware on riprap.Goodluck!
