Just a quick post for you folks wondering about the river conditions. The gates are down! Stage and flow are becoming very managable.Several limits of nice saugers are starting to show up with more frequency.3ways and bait are probably the most successfull, with the ringworm,paddletail,hair-jig,and blades heating up rapidly.Throwing something different by these fish do put an xtra catch in the livewell.Colors? Purple, green, and black.Good fishing to everyone!
Thanks for keeping us updated. See ya next weekend.
Thanks Dean for the report, it sounds promising for this weekend!

Dean, thanks for the update. I was out on wednesday, got some eye’s but nothing over 20″
. All fish on ringies.
Water was still very dirty for this time of year. Just wondering if the main river water is cleaned up some with the receeding water levels?
Water clarity is on the dirty side as of yet,but I know we have all fished in much worse.
BUT it will be clearing up some now that the high water is passing and water levels can now get back to more normal levels for this time of year. Its getting better and will keep getting better.
Thanks Dean. Please keep us posted.
Thanks, Bill
