Smallies are still going like ganbusters here on P10. My wife and I went out for a tour this afternoon looking for some smallie action. Well it didn’t take long to find them. With the water temp down 5 degrees from just a few days ago they weren’t up in front of the structure like they were. Instead they were using the current breaks and shelves getting out of the increase in flow.
These fish are still taking my paddletails and just rippin them off my Precision Jigs. Some of the hits are just incredible
In just a short afternoon we caught and released over 20 SM Bass. Most of them ranged fron 15" to 16" but some of them topped out at 19" like the one my wife reeled in
1/8oz to 3/16oz H20 Precision Jigs and BFT’s Paddletails have been the ticket for me..Catalpa Orange, Electric Blue have been the two hottest but to be honest, I thru all the colors at them and they bit…and bit hard !!
Lots of action is a lot of fun…these little fellas fight like they are 20 inchers…get out and enjoy the action
even on cranks !!
Those are some dandy fish
.Thanks for the great report.
thanks Tony
The Padletails have been so good for me that I have hardly used anything else for the bass …Most of the smallies are on the smaller side but there are some real nice fish mixed in
See you out there sometime !!
It looks like those Bass really were on fire, by the looks of that picture with the Paddletail and jig all the way down the throat! It looks like the wife caught a beauty there Dave

I love the open mouth pic…I will be getting out next week to a good trophy Smallie lake and you can bet the Paddletails will be in PERIL!!!!
