It is that time of year when the family trips are taking place here at the resort.It is always so much fun to see what comes in from the regular everyday fisherman and the trophy smiles on there faces.Shown here is the Swany family with bluegill and nice stripers.#5 firetiger shadraps put most of the fish in there boat.
Young Nicky is shown here with her first legal walleye caught off our dock using live bait.Good job!I might mention that the walleye bite has been steadily getting better with several mid 20 inch fish coming in from local guides James Holst and Dustin Stewart.I am sure they will fill us in later with the details and pics of what is going on there.
This cat caught by Steph from East Dubuque, Il,was caught using the traditional stinkbait in the middle of the day and had several other bites as well.I have been seeing nice stringers of 10 or more cats routinely this week.
Finally,a tophy 37# caught on a #5 firetiger shadrap.Congrats Chad!Way too much fun for anyone guy to have trolling cranks!Hope to see all of you at the ARM and IDA Get-Together coming up shortly.
