Well,I wish all fishing reports could be fantastic,this isnt one of those.River conditions have been variable to say the least!On the positive side,water clarity is improving dramatically,which hopefully will produce more consistant results on this end of pool 4.
Local 4yr old angler Jada Iberg with her dad stopped by today with a hawg 8.13# 28 inch trophy!A very proud dad as well as he should be! They reported 15 eyes to the boat on live-bait presentations today.Congrats to Jada and Dad for job well done!
The much asked about white bass bite has been slow at best.However the quality of fish in regards to size has been well above average.Hair jigs,minows,and ringworms have been producing for the fish being caught.

Its good to hear a report from you. im glad someone came in today that caught some fish. its been a wacky and weird this whole year and hope it will smooth out here in the near future. I hope everything is going well for you so far at the resort. i will see ya once again in the long awaited 5 days from now.

Great to see a report from Evert’s. We are going to make it down to see ya one day soon. We have been hitting Pool 3 lately with OK results but nothing great. We always fish the Pooh Bear so next weekend we have to hit Pool 4 to get a feel for what is going on. Hope you are getting settled into the new job. It must be rough having the river right out your front door!
Hi Dean, I’m sure your next time out you will probably catch some dandy’s. I had a great time at the resort even though the fish weren’t cooperating. It was good good to just get away and relax a couple of days. I want to thank you again for carrying my gear to the cabin, (I was on a ten pound weight restriction and Dean carried my heavyer items) the cooler didn’t weigh nearly as much when I left. )
Looking forward to getting back to doing everything I once was able to do and getting back down your way. Take care and keep us posted on the bite .

Thanks for the report Dean. For those that don’t know Dean, he is the new Everts Resort Manager. Dean has had a trailer at Everts for years and fishes the river alot so many will already know him. I’ve known him for years and am sure he will do a great job of taking care of you at the resort. In fact he was one of Steves Vicks best friends so it was an easy choice for Steve to pick him for replacing him as manager.
