Ok, so I forgot my camera so sorry no pics. Hit the bay yesterday in the light rain and mellow NW wind. Water temp last Tues was 55 deg and yesterday 42-44 deg. The smallmouths did alot of following due to the cold water temps but we managed to talk 30 fish into biting. Was out with Leo Naumann and 4 of his buddys. We found the hungrier fish in 5 to 7 ft of water and the most sightings in 10 to 12 ft. Hot bait was a Glass Perch minnow Husky Jerk. I told Leo when we were at Anglers All in Ashland to grab a Glass Minnow Husky Jerk in Pink just for the heck of it and he caught 7 fish on the darn thing. We had 4 fish on Hot Craw Rattl’n raps. All the smallies were between 17 and 20 inches. Cant wait to get out tomorrow with long time client Joe Harvey. Sunshine today will surely help. Good Luck and Be Safe.

hi Chris,

Sounds like the fish on right on the edge of being consistent. I don’t usually get up there til early to mid June, but may have to make an exception, soon. Just don’t think I can wait that long. Am sure looking for some nice pics on your next report.
thanks, Jack…
