Was out Tuesday and Wednseday. Water temps dropped down into the lower 70’s.
The next couple of days are suppose to be warm again and that will probably push water temps back up to the mid 70’s at least one more time this year.
Tuesday’s fishing was pretty good. Ended up with 4 legal walleyes and saugers and several crappies again to boot. One very large bluegill showed up on the end of one line as well. All caught by pulling night crawlers on spinners.
Wednesday was spent pulling crank baits thru some new areas that I’ve been meaning to try. The fish slowed down a little bit in this main lake area. Still ended up with 3 legals and a few crappies though, all of them were released.
Did catch the biggest fish of the year on Wednesday also.
Even though it was not a walleye, it was still great fun catching this beast before releasing it back into Lake Wisconsin.
Thats one of the cool things about this lake, you just never know for sure what is going to show up on the end of your line.
Good luck out there guys,
JWB

Holy Buffalo Carp!!! Now that’s a dandy. I haven’t come across one that big in a long time.
That is indeed a Blue Buffalo.
