Pool 5 walleye Report—-30 inch Walleye

Well you guessed it again. I left for Devils Lake last week to fish the RCL Walleye Circuit and come back to another…Ha! Ha!.

Pool 5 walleye action has been in great shape for the last week. Even with the raising water levels fish are getting easier to find. My ol man took this 30" walleye the other day while casting to a current break near a wingdam. This walleye was taken on his FisherFlick jig black and purple.

Other presentations working this week has been live bait. River rigs worked in front of low current wingdams or back side of current breaks. This next picture is my little boy with a stringer of walleyes they caught in a short trip on Pool 5.

The last picture is Edgar Johnson, from HiMec, Inc. in Rochester with a couple quality fish he got with me on his trip last week with me. We took these on pool 4 working jigs with live bait.

I will be on Lower Pool 4 this weekend so if you see stop and say hi. Or tell me where I can find a walleye that is bigger than the ol man’s. LOL! He has had 3- 30" fish in the last 3 1/2 weeks. Looks like I will have to play catch up. UHHH! LOL!
