Pool 10 on the Bass

Spinner Baits and Swim Jigs…

Two of the most easiest baits to throw, are also two baits that can put almost any fish in the boat.. Some of my favorite places to fish for smallies also hold some nice LM bass as well…

I have been using the new Pulse-R paddle tails as trailers on both the swim jigs and spinner baits… Firecracker, pro blue make some real nice color combos with the shad color swim jigs.. I like the Brovarney Swim Jigs because of the wire keeper. You can catch a lot of fish without having to pull the trailer back up…

Doubles are very common when three of us are all pitching submerged timber. One high in the front of the boat… One medium with another bait in the middle of the boat, and another swim jig fished real slow around the timber in the back of the boat..

Ross is new to the sport… He caught on real quick with some easy instruction on how the swim jig runs thru the water. Speed, Rod Tip location are two factors, but the ability to put the lure in the right spot puts it all together. Puts more fish in the boat every time !!

No doubt. Smiles all around, and a boat full of happy folks is awesome to see. Tell the girls to keep out-fishing dad!
