On Monday afternoon I went on Pool 5 in search of the my favorite fish the smallmouth bass. I figured why not break the new boat in right with the best fish out there. The day started slow trying some deeper holes that have held fish in the past.
Right before sun down I ran to my go to spot an was able to pull 8 good smallies all in the 2-3lb range.Best presentation for us was smithwick rouges an jigs. The jigs were fished really slowwww. All the fish just held on.
With the warm temps coming later this week. The bite should be in great shape come weekend.
good work flick. better come up a couple times this summer so we can pound those wood carp all day long on lake menomin. saw your boat parked outside the store when i was passin through this weekend…don’t try to show it off or anything lol

Dylan,
Great report, could you include more background in the pictures so I can figure out where you are. Did you notice the Black pickup that tried to run you over on 4th street this morning. That was me.
Dylan,
Very nice early season Bass. Keep them good reports coming,
Thanks Jack..
All I have to say is wait to see the pigs he got last night. Smallest one was just over 4lbs. WOW! I will put those up on a report sometime before the weekend. I do mean PIGS!
Great job Dylan! Can’t wait until a topwater bite gets going to get out and get blasted!
