LOW Ice Fishing Report Video 2-19-12

In this addition of the Wigwam Fishing Report Video, the Wigwam Fisherman, Tyler “The Crop Duster” Ness and Gary Smith aka “Hank”, venture across the big body of water to the Northwest Angle, just west of Little Oak Island to find a few Walleyes on this glorious February 16th day. We left the Wigwam at about 10:30 AM and made the 35 mile jaunt by sled in about 45 minutes. We started in 20 – 23 feet of water and the fishing was constant and steady all day, even though The Crop Duster and I moved a couple times. All the fish we found were in the 20 – 23 foot range. Frozen and live Shiners were the ticket for us throughout the afternoon, and at times it didn’t matter what you threw at them, they wanted it!

The Wigwam has just moved our houses out in the mud a few more miles and it seemed to be the ticket as I spoke to the guests that fished with us today (Sunday February 19th). More Walleyes and big Walleyes were caught today…we love to hear that, and so should you if you plan on visiting us this upcoming week or weekend. This is a much better report from 36 foot in the mud than we had this past few days. Thanks to all for the continued viewing of my adventures in Lake of the Woods County and beyond…Happy Fishing and God Bless!
