A great thanks to Jesse Krook for a fantastic time on the St. Croix this past weekend… You did a great job of taking care of all of us.. Josh and I will remember this weekend for a long time… Josh had the hot hand for the bigger fish of the weekend,,,
We had set up on a few places outside of Hudson Wi on the St.Croix river… Working break lines, points and holes in the area… We caught white bass, perch, crappies, catfish and bluegills…oh yea… a sheephead too !!!
With the temps at -5 the morning of… we were in a hurry to get into the comforts of the Otter Pro Cabin !!! HEATS ON !!!
On Sunday Josh and I headed back towards home and stopped at a few places to see if the ice was going to call us out… the first place was a bust… then we were at the landing at Maiden rock… We sat there for 20 minutes looking out over the Mississippi all ice covered… Trucks driving out and all.. I just didn’t know the area to just go take off out there…
So we kept driving south along the river..till me found the honey hole !!!

Josh had a cat on that gave him the best fight of the weekend… She hit on a pink and white demon jig with a minnow head… Right when James and Cal were pulling up on Miller mans Kick butt Polaris… Josh pulled up this cat from the depths !!!
