Special thanks to Karen, Johnny and Captain Pete Hoogs for sharing the boat with the Wigwam Fisherman this past weekend. The fishing was fantastic and once again Lake of the Woods has solidified itself as the Walleye Capital of the World in my eyes.
The common theme was pink and gold, accompanied by a leech. We fishing in a number of different depths, but 30 – 32 feet held the Walleyes. We were able to release a few monster Walleyes over 25 inches throughout the weekend and the smiles were flowing freely amongst our group, as you’ll see in the video.
