Lake Wisconsin trolling the last 2 days.

I was out sunday afternoon with the lady that taught me on how to fish from the get go. Her name is June and she is a special lady, she is my mother and is 84 years old. This is the second time this year we got out trolling together. We started out trolling with shad raps, flicker shads and cleo spoons. The first pass she had 14 1/2 inch walleye on the perch colored cleo. This was a good start to the afternoon. We marked it on the gps to set up a trolling pattern. After setting that board back out another flag went down and we had the first fish in the box. She did a great job reeling all the fish in. We had 4 spots marked in a oval pattern and picked up fish off of one of the humps we found on the lake. We got 2 legals for the day and boated 19 shorts, also caught some whitebass as well and one nice perch on the shad rap. We also got 2 nice crappies as well.We had one fish on the lead core pole that I could hardly get out of the rod holder, it must have been one of those big toothy critters soon after it was we got bit off. We swicthed gears later in the day to do some jigging in one the other bays for crappie and saugers. We made 2 drifts before some rain came in and boated 3 saugers and 2 nice crappies. With the rain coming we took off for the boat ramp. It was a great day to out with my mother fishing.

I had Scott Ford and his freind monday in the boat to chase some walleyes and saugers for the morning trip. We set up in the same location as we fished on sunday to do some trolling. The action started out good again with 21 shorts and 2 legals for the day and one walleye up in the slot that was released back to fight another day. The two never caught walleyes before and had a great time getting some fish. Great day fishing with new freinds. I,ll be fishing the next 3 days lake Wis as well and will have more reports.
