    Thanks for the information Munchy. I wish the marina I’m buying it from was as informative. Just didn’t want it to be tough to turn especially since my girlfriend might be driving it from time to time. Thanks again

    Newbie here. I just purchased my first brand new boat and went with the 1875 pro v bass xs with the 200 pro xs with 6” Atlas JP. I upgraded my steering to the panther power steering but now while they are installing everything they are saying the PPS isn’t compatible with the JP. They are saying I need to go with the hydraulic steering with the JP. I’m afraid if I go with the hydraulic steering it’s going to be hard to steer with such a big outboard. Anybody running the hydraulic steering and regretting they didn’t go with power steering? Thanks in advance guys, can use all the help I can get.
