I am heading up to LOTW to Sportsmans Lodge tomorrow and was curious if anyone has a fishing report. First time ever fishing this lake.

The winds are supposed to be coming out of the NW Saturday so we should be good on that part.

Looking to get a fishing report for this weekend. I am coming up to fish on Saturday with my 10 yr old son. I am looking to put him on fish (walleye) and curious where I should start my day at. Was thinking about starting on the west near garrison and work the north end. Or have the fish started moving off the shallows/sand transitions?

Best Bait: Leeches or Shiners?
Approaches: Lindy, Jig, slip-bobber, cranks, etc.

Forgot to reply back after the trip back in May but most walleyes were caught in the east side of the narrows closer to Big Bay. Crappies were caught up in Black Bay (12-14″).

I will be headed up there on the 5th-7th with my family, any specific areas to target that you could share with me would be great. Looking to get my 9 yr old and wife on some fish.

I will be headed up tomorrow through sunday.

Any fishing reports from opening weekend?
