I fished ringworms in the Guttenburg pool and did quite well, I also did well fishing ring worms on the Iowa River. I wasn’t pitching these jigs I was just drifting bottom and the better fish preferred the ring worms vs any kind of bait.

If you are really looking for a flexible job look into insurance or financial services. I graduated from college with a marketing and finance degree hoping to accomplish the same as yourself, good money and a lot of free time. So far the insurance industry has been great, set your own hours, nobody telling you when you can or can’t fish except for the wife.

This business also hones your selling and promotional skills because that is how you make money, this may be a job that would help you to get on track with your dreams.

I’s always nice when your dad takes the credit for the fish, the picture is of his son “Roger”, thank for having them posted.

We were trolling #5 shallow shad raps in about 4-6 feet of water using Off-Shore Planer Boards. Worked well for us and it was a great weekend spent with a GREAT DAD!! Hope you read this.

Thanks, I figured as much. I still think I am going to try it though, also have there been any eyes caught on the Miss. lately, haven’t seen any posts.

    Pro V,

I would respectfully like to point out that the statement that I made about “being a sales ploy” was my previous thought and not my thoughts anymore!!!

Fished #11 Saturday, it was relatively slow. Caught 6 fish all over 17-19″. All the fish came off wing dams and using ring worms with no bait. Didn’t see much ice on the river at all.

This is the first year I have fished with ringworms, I dug them out of some old bass stuff. I was very skeptical at first but to my surprise it has outproduced any type of lure, bait, etc.

I fished Gutt. on Saturday and the only thing that the fish would hit were ringworms, I fished the Iowa River yesterday, only thing they hit were ring worms.

To be honest I haven’t caught a single fish on bait yet this year. I have become a real believer and at first I also thought that this was just a ploy to sell additional tackle.

I fished #11 on Sat. Morning went south. Caught 6 walleyes all over 18″. All of the fish came off wing dams. Used fireball jigs and ring worms (black with Chart).
