I’m voting for the rag wool …. near the end of winter many places put them on sale …. pick ’em up for about a buck/pair … cut away the finger tips …. keep a spare or two with you …..
for milder weather fleece …. and, they’re not as bad to snag hooks.

I’ll try some if it isn’t dangerous …. I do believe in glucosamine sulfate …. 1000 mg 2 x day …. aleve helps too …. maybe an orthorpedist and chiropractor? both have helped me, along with the spinal surgeon…… take great care with vicodin beyond short term use.

I just replaced my cranking battery about 2 hours ago … the original was the lower powered interstate …. went with the higher power interstates, same size … only $59.95 with 24 month full replacement warrenty ,,,, my fault, I suppose, since I wasn’t diligent about keeping the water level above the plates …. but the trolling batteries are still working just fine … almost 3 years on them (and the nitro) ….. I watch the water level better now ….. just my two cents!

I’d be concerned about cutting the root from a perspective of losing it as an “anchor” for the tree …. if the tree falls in a strong storm, what gets busted?

    Bill,
Sit with her, hold her hand, whisper to her or just tell her in your mind real hard about everyone sending prayers, blessing and energy to her and your family. She will hear and that will make her stronger. Faith is a strong thing.

Not Law, but common sense … always, way to call for help … and trip plan with someone on alert to find you if past due; cold weather, change of dry packed warm clothing …. and another in the vehicle.

SWR = Standing Wave Ratio …. its the fine fine tuning of the antenna that can improve performance, but I’ve never seen it as dramatic as you describe …. you’ll need a radio friend with a meter for checking it …. its a matter of fine detail in how long the antenna is.

hey, I had a ’61 ramble station-wagon … I could even quickly deal with the bad starter issue without even a look with a tire tool ….. hehe, get it up to 60 mph and the vacumn powered wipers would start cleaning the windshield!

If you want to help, I recommend cash donation to your local chapter of the american red cross. NC remains on standby to house victims.

I have a tracker boat, its a fish and ski, not a walleye boat, but I’ve had probelms with workmanship …. so far (4 tow-in’s in less than 2 years) I’ve had too many problems to consider tracker as a reliable option … I’ll never even consider tracker again. ….. sour grapes for sure.

I use Seafoam in all my gas engines, both 2 & 4 cycle. I’m using up the left over stabil on the one gallon of gas I keep seperate as “back-up” should I need to mix some 2 cycle fuel after surprise storm damage. Every few months I just pour it in the truck to use it up & immediately replace.
Notice how the price has dropped on Stabil … I think Seafoam scares them.

    AmWatson,
Since early March I’ve averaged being on the lake at least once per week …. minimum of 10 hours each trip …. I’ve only caught 2 legal eyes this year …. yep, I’m a novice, but the solitude is reason enough to be there … fish are a bonus …. I’m often in my most relaxed state on the lake …. I even prefer cold weather, cause the crowd is smaller.
So go Sie, sit, think, even leave the rods in the locker, take a few weeks off if you must, or better, find someone from the list to go with …. its easiest to relax and talk with someone who doesn’t know you very well ….. I’d volunteer in the blink of an eye, but …. I’m in NC, and it’s 1100 miles to S. MN ….
You are getting better ….. talking with others is a big part of that and we are all here to listen.

Support her emotionally and spiritually ….. it is the human and right thing to do…… financially – this could break most people, so, stay away from that …. there is no shame in applying for medicaid for those with a true need and especially for those who have contributed to “the system”….. the system can break her or both of you, and the outcome will be the same ….. and, cancer treatment has progressed rapidly in the last few years……
btw, my mother died from it.
