The youth mentoring program does apply to non residents. I used it with my grandson for years until he got to old.

if you would go with the double gun option keep in mind that the stocks of most of them are cast [curved] to accommodate right handers. Some are straight stocked like the Browning Citori.
December 12, 2018 at 8:10 am #1817063And it up sending the guy instructions on how to wire money into my account. Never heard from again.
December 8, 2018 at 2:01 pm #1816079I’m not worried about the purchase itself,it’s completely legal. The problem would be paying for a $1000 gun with a bogus money order. It can take 10 days for a money order to clear.I’m no sure how it wuld go down but it seems real suspect to me.

August 27, 2018 at 12:31 pm #1794013I guess you would prefer some corporate advertiser with an agenda paying for the information you recieve.

March 29, 2018 at 8:52 am #1763595Als has been putting etecs on my Lund’s for years. There is a charge for swapping out the throttle ass. But I think it ends up a horse apiece with the motors.

January 19, 2018 at 6:58 am #1745550I bought one of them on sale units at Fleet Farm couple of days ago. I got it put together and out on the ice for a trial run. There definitely will be a learning curve as far as easily setting it up. Thanks for everyone’s help
January 14, 2018 at 8:53 am #1744011There is a guy in Windom that might be able to help. He is a collector an dealer and restores a lot of knives. I don’t have his contact info at hand but his last name is Ward. Windom is pretty small there couldn’t be too many.
November 13, 2017 at 8:00 am #1727601Wally Scharr once told me his account of the blizzard. Wally had come in early after getting his clients into the best duck hunt of their lives. After taking care of his hunters and the ducks Wally went down to the boat landing where a group of men had gathered, they were discussing going out on a rescue mission. No one was willing to go out and risk their own lives to maybe save someone. Wally swore he could hear voices crying for help when the wind was just right. Finally he couldn’t take it anymore and took a boat that was more stable than their duck skiffs from the C.O. E. Station. He talked another guy into helping and out they went. He was right he followed the voices and brought back 12 or 13 men some living and some dead. The ones that were able to survive had been able to build and mantain a fire. One of the survivors was the president of a big co. in Chicago. Every year after that on nov. 11 he flew Wally and his wife to Chicago to be wined and dined to show his gratitude. Wally was one of the gruffest most insensitive men I ever knew but when he told about bringing in the bodies of the hunters who didn’t make it he had tears running down his cheeks. Anyway that’s one account of nov. 11 1940.
November 11, 2017 at 11:53 am #1727216For a long time I used a lawn chair lounge that I spray painted and covered up with a camo sleeping bag that I blended in to match the field. I got a lot of ribbing at first but it worked great and super easy to take my shots. It got left out in ND or I’d still be using it.
October 29, 2017 at 10:06 am #1723931I would like to reiterate very strongly that eye protection be worn at all times. I didn’t and have spent the last 35 yrs blind in one eye. A good pair of chaps are really nice for helping keep warm dry and legs from getting scratched up.
October 15, 2017 at 1:03 pm #1721077Electric blanket wrapped with a heavy moving blanket. Put the electric on a timer, won’t take much to keep it thawed.
Sounds like a fire waiting to happen to me.
October 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm #1721076Nice pics. Are your dogs Deutsche Dratts or are they American bred?
October 15, 2017 at 12:52 pm #1721075In a pinch I have gone to the local shooting range and mined lead from the backstops. Stained glass co. usually have some lead.
September 23, 2017 at 3:11 pm #1716763Hamm that’s a really good question and a simple one to answer. Basically it the same as you would offer anyone else. Don,t invade their space. If you enter an area where waterfowlers are, decoys or shooting e.t.c. leave. There are lots of places for fishermen to do their thing while waterfowlers spots can be limited. Besides usually they would be there first.
